iFly Commercial Presents: The "Baggage" Blog Promotion

iFly Commercial and the “Baggage” Blog Promotion

Are you carrying some heavy baggage currently? No, not in terms of your backpack, suitcase, purse, murse, or briefcase. I’m talking about psychological, health, and socio-emotional baggage after a bad romantic breakup (I’ve been there), failed semester in graduate school (I’ve been there, too), death of a loved one, health diagnosis, or struggles with disordered eating, racism, sexism, or other problems?

Research indicates how baggage is today’s norm as “Our age is deeply distracted. Entertainments lure us, media beeps at us from every device, news feeds crawl with dire predictions, and global events declare hourly, ominously, that we need to put down whatever we're doing and pay attention to the present crisis. Meanwhile our work must be done, our families need us, our marriages require deeper investment and friends would like a little of our attention. Physical stuff-the maintenance of homes and cars, wardrobes and laundry, grocery shopping and meal preparation and meal consumption-all takes time, drains our focus, and may even rob us of the last remnants of our energy” (Camille, 2018). In turn, think of this blog as your baggage booster because I encourage readers to unpack and unload any unnecessary baggage, past traumas, pain, worries, frustrations, self-talk, or depression that you may be lugging around with you in life.

By subscribing to my free blog, you’ll explore the friendly skies of mental health, global adventures, cultures, cuisine, and more: a self-discovery to unlock your true self and happiness. We’ll learn about the psychological benefits of travel from the comfort of your home, casa, apartment, man cave, dorm, or cabin.

What’s more, you’ll be qualified to earn a $200 Southwest gift card giveaway. Southwest Airlines is one of the most inspirational, empowering airlines and companies ever. Their founder and former CEO Herb Kelleher created a transformational model for leadership and policies for how to treat employees the right way. Regardless of your chosen destination, let this blog and promo opportunity take you places and lift any baggage you might be hauling along in your mind, body, and spirit!

Camille, A. (2018). Does that camel come in a smaller size? So little of our mental and physical baggage will accompany us when we meet our creator. Only faith, hope, and love are along for the whole journey. U.S. Catholic, 83(10), 47–49.

Comment below and let me know where you plan on going if you WIN and what “baggage” you plan to leave behind? If it were me, I’d love to experience Cuba because the culture, food and people seem amazing. From what I’ve heard, it’s also the perfect place to disconnect from technology and live in the moment. The baggage that I would leave behind would be fear!
